Savona - Riviera delle Palme
A stone's throw from Andora e Alassio, the village rises around the bay" baia del Sole", delimited between Capo Santa Croce e Capo Mele. Probably of roman origin this small ligurian town preserves the charm of an old sea village unchanged in time, with its colourful perpendicular houses and its maze of cobbled streets. ( More Less )
Noteworthy and part of the image of the town is the Torrione, a round tower which dates back to the 16th century; situated on the seafront it represents one of the many ancient examples of Ligurian strongholds.
Considered one of the most beautiful villages of the Riviera delle Palme of Italy, each year Laigueglia hosts the Perc Festival dedicated to jazz music and percussion: the show presents over one hundred events where numerous international artists take part in the appealing setting of an evening by the sea.
